In Navarra, a region located in northern Spain, the forestry and timber industry has been a source of life and income despite its precipitous and hostile terrain.

In the 19th century, the wood from our forests began to travel through Spain and Europe in the form of railway sleepers to enable the railroad to connect goods and travellers and change our means of transport forever.
The timber supply needs of the railway industry were so great that it led to the creation of sawmills close to the logging sites in order to optimise the production and distribution of timber.
And it was at this moment in history, the year 1958, that WOODIFY began to pave its path. The need to optimise the production, handling, drying and treatment of wood times gave rise to the business undertaking embarked on by several Navarre-based families who knew how to adapt their knowledge of the trade to the new times.
They were years of considerable effort and work, the internal demand for wood kept growing and the Company needed to invest in means of production and the search for nearby partners on which to rely in order to improve the management process and our competitiveness in the sector.
